About Your Leader

Daniel Strain

Senior Yoga Instructor

Daniel is a singer-song writer and yoga teacher. Credentialed through Yoga Alliance, Daniel completed his 200 level training at Purple Yoga. Complementing his yoga experience, Daniel is trained in Mixed Martial Arts and has taught youth kickboxing. He started his journey in the world of yoga with a desire for better breath control, as well as being able to emerge himself in a new way of exercise. In practicing yoga he has found out more about himself then he ever imagined.

His goal in teaching is to teach smart strong yoga classes that emphasize building strength, creating flexibility, and cultivating mind-body awareness. Daniel’s classes incorporate a fluid mix of longer holds and crafty flows that forge a deep mind-body connection. “I try to provide an intelligent teaching style that makes yoga relatable and fun for all levels of modern-day students.”
