What to expect in a restorative class
Restorative yoga is a slower, more meditative practice of restorative and yin poses for all levels, usually with music. Poses are held longer than in a traditional yoga class, giving you space to turn inward and notice your body and your thoughts. Bolsters, blocks, blankets and straps are provided. You are welcome to bring your own props if you prefer.
Our Sound Bath Restorative Yoga class adds a sound bath of soothing sounds. Longer holds and layered tones create space to settle into stillness. The heat is turned off, though the room may still be warm from the earlier class.
Who it is for
All levels are welcome. Restorative yoga suits beginners, recovery days, anyone returning to practice and anyone who wants a slower pace.
Class times
Restorative and sound bath classes meet every week at the same times: Tuesday at 8:00 PM, Thursday at 8:00 PM and Saturday at 11:30 AM. Check the live Huntington Beach schedule to book your spot online.
